HAM TPE Stats problem
The last weeks, a problem with the HAM TPE stats has resulted in the latest transfers not being used to make the
stats tables and graphs on this website. The problem has now been fixed, and the TPE Stats tables are once again up to
date. The graphs will unfortunately continue to show wrong values for the weeks where the problem has been present.
The TPE Stats graphs will start using the correct values again from today.
This problem has not affected the TPE values inside HAM! It was a website statistics problem only.

TPE Graphs fixed
For some time now, the TPE statistical graphs has not been updated. A critical HAM server software update broke the graph updating functionality. This has now
been fixed. And fortunately, the server has continued to collect the statistics for the graphs, even in the downtime period. So todays updated graphs shows the
(rather depressing) transfer price development for all of the period up until today. In addition, new 8 weeks development graphs have been added, to give a
closer look at recent price development.
See the Hattrick-world famous TPE statistical graphs here.
And there was much rejoicing... :-)

Vacation
Loke Software will close for vacation between Jul. 15 and Jul. 20. HAM support emails will be answered as soon as possible after this. During this period, registration
with PayPal payments will be temporarily disabled, since these are handled manually. Sorry about any inconvenience this delay may cause.
Should anyone happen to meet Loke in Rome, Italy this week, on-site and live HAM registration in the form of an Italian beer will be possible and very welcome!

HAM and the new youth squad system
With the new youth squad functionality in Hattrick, many HAM users has wondered if HAM will introduce functionality to support this new part of Hattrick.
Unfortunately, Hattrick has not yet made support for download of any data regarding these new youth squads, and hence such functionality in HAM could not legally be
automated and have the same quality that other HAM functionality has.
HAM will eventutally get support for the new youth squads. But development can not start before the HT's create CHPP support for it. The HT's has promised
CHPP developers, that such support will be part of the youth system in the future. It is not yet known, if the HT's plan on introducing this support within weeks,
months or years though.

HAM for National Teams
First of all, HAM is not developed for use with national teams. But if you find any use for HAM as a national coach,
you are very welcome to use it. You can get a HAM registration key free of charge for this use, as long as you accept that
this use is totally unsupported.
All national teams are already registered for use with HAM. So as a new national coach, all you have to do is
use the Lost Key function here on the HAM website to get the registration key sent to your email address.
Good luck to all newly elected national coaches!

HAM with Windows Vista
Some users are having problems running HAM under Windows Vista. HAM will initially run, but subsequent tries to run HAM fails. This is caused by
the new User Account Control in Vista. You can either solve this by disabling User Account Control, or by opening properties for HAM.exe, go
to the compatibility tab and select HAM to run as administrator.

"HTTP 1.1/500 Internal Server Error"
Many users are having issues with an error message "HTTP 1.1/500 Internal Server Error" when trying to retrieve teamdata in HAM. This problem is caused by an error with the XML data on the Hattrick
servers. It has been reported that it sometimes helps to retrieve matchdata (even when already up to date) first. Also, closing and restarting HAM a few times,
in order to get assigned to another Hattrick server might help aswell.
The HT's has been made aware of the problem, and hopefully it will be fixed soon.

TPE back in business
Thanks to tellerbop, developer of H.C.P and HAM TPE partner, almost all TPE transfers has now been restored, and TPE should be running as normal. TPE service status
will be monitored closely over the next few days to verify that this is indeed the case.

TPE crash update
Unfortunately, the webhotel hosting the TPE database service has lost the TPE database. Permantently. While this of course is inexcusable, the first concern at this time must
be to get the TPE service back online. A new database has now been brought online - but it's currently empty. And as such, the TPE service is ogf much worse quality than usual.
The good news is, that in 8 weeks time, TPE will be back at full strength, since TPE only uses transfers from the last 8 weeks. In the meantime, I will try to obtain as many of
the lost transfers and submit them to the database, to make the quality loss as small as possible in the following 8 weeks. But unfortunately, some degree of quality loss will
be unavoidable.
I sincereley apologize for this TPE downtime and quality loss. Steps has been taken to avoid a similar situation in the future.

TPE Service temporarily unavailable
The TPE database is hosted by a webhotel company. This company has had a major database breakdown, and are currently working towards restoring several hosted databases.
Unfortunately, this includes the HAM TPE database, currently rendering the TPE service unavailable. TPE should be back in a few days at most. Sorry about the inconvenience this
is causing.
Update: The problem is unfortunately more serious than first assumed. A solution is being worked hard upon, and hopefully TPE will be back during the weekend or early next week. Again, sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently - after Hattrick server move
Some users has been getting an error message "HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently" since Hattrick moved their servers. If you are getting this error,
lease make sure that you are using the latest HAM version. If so, it may help to add the Hattrick server adresses to you hosts file:
Locate your hosts file (typically C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts)
Open the file with a text editor, such as Notepad or Write.
Add the following lines to the file:
Update: Lines removed, as Hattrick problem has since been fixed.
Save changes, and HAM should work again. Please note, that this change to your hosts file will have to be removed or altered should Hattrick's adresses change again in the future.

New version 6.1.106.230 Hattrick data changed
What's New?
- Match possession is now retrieved automatically.
Beta Test Functionality - for advanced users
- New runtime parameter TEAMUPDATE. Running HAM with the parameter TEAMUPDATE will attempt to update team details, save and close HAM. Please note, that this is *beta* functionality, though. If Hattrick data changes or other unexpected events occur, the update might fail. HAM will try to close after 2 minutes if unexpected events occur with the TEAMUPDATE parameter activated.
Bug Fixes
- Divine in Turkish language changed to mücizevi.
- Unpredictable in Swedish language changed to Oförutsägbar.

to login to Hattrick through HAM.

Hattrick Data Changed
The Hattrick teamdata XML has changed today. The new XML data has been verified for use with the latest version and beta version of HAM. If you are getting an error
telling you that the Hattrick data has changed, please verify that you are using the latest version of HAM. If not, you will have to update your HAM installation.
If you get the error, even while using the latest version, it is because the automatic HAM XML version check is unable to contact the HAM server (probably due to your firewall settings). You can solve this in
one of two ways:
1) Allow HAM access to the HAM server (213.173.228.232)
Highly recommended, as everything will be done automatically then!
2) Manually edit (with Notepad, Word or a similar editor) your HAMXMLVersion.dat. The file can be found in your HAM folder (Default C:\Program Files\HAM\).

Login with password disabled by Hattrick
The last several versions of HAM has all supported Hattrick login with the CHPP Security Code login. For compatability reasons (with other CHPP applications), Hattrick decided
to leave the possibility for "normal" password login open for a long time. This possibility has now been closed. All CHPP applications must now login to Hattrick using the Security Code.
If you are getting an error from HAM, telling you that your username or password are wrong, there are two reasons:
A) You are using an old version of HAM. Go here to get the latest version.
B) You now have to use the Hattrick Security Code and not your password. Create a Security Code in the preferences on the Hattrick site.

HAM Spam
A newsletter was sent to many of the registered users of HAM by email, containing an offer for another (poker assistant) program from Loke Software. A few HAM users has
felt offended by this message which they regarded as a spam mail. It was never intended as such, but thinking about it, I can see how they regarded it like that.
For that, I sincerely appologies to all who may have felt offended by the message. I can guarantee, that no such email will ever be sent again to registered HAM users.
