About HAM Weights

HAM Weights - explained.
The new (since version 5.2) HAM weights works slightly different from what they used to. The new weights works on all possible individual player orders, such as wing towards middle, defensive forward, etc. In the Settings dialog on the Weights tab, you can set the weights - how much each skill should influence HAM's evaluation of the player - for each position.

You select how much (0-100%) each skill influences the evaluation of the player. For instance, if you select a wing back to be 100% Winger and 80% defending, his HAM wing back evaluation will be (1 * Winger Skill + 0.8 * Defending Skill) / 1.8. Thus, if you only want a single skill to influence the evaluation, as with keeper perhaps, it does not matter how high you set the keeper influence, as keeper skill would be the only skill contributing to the evaluation.

For evaluation purposes, the winger skill will be counted slightly higher (20%) for all wingback and winger positions.

The stamina skill influence is calculated a little different from the other skills. If you choose to let the stamina skill influence the evaluation, the evaluation is influenced by how close the player is to excellent (8) stamina. If the player is excellent (8), there is no influence. For each level the player is below excellent (8), one quater of a level is subtracted from the evaluation, if the stamina weight is 100% (1/8 if 50% and so forth).

Inner Midfield Weight
Playmaking100
Passing20
Defending20
Stamina80

Evaluation as Inner Midfield:
((9*100)+(7*20)+(3*20) / (100+20+20)) - ((8-6)*0,80*(1/4)) = 7.5

Forward Weight
Scoring100
Passing50

Evaluation as Forward:
((6*100)+(7*50) / (100+50)) = 6.3

Inner Midfield (Offensive) Weight
Playmaking100
Passing60
Defending0
Stamina80

Evaluation as Inner Midfield:
((9*100)+(7*60) / (100+60)) - ((8-6)*0,80*(1/4)) = 7,9

Experience and form is still one setting for all positions, and works as with the previous weight system.
